Kelly visited Hong Kong to do a mini-concert:

HONG KONG: Rock-pop sensation Kelly Clarkson showed fans in Hong Kong why she’s known as “the girl with the big voice”.

Despite having sold over 20 million records worldwide, Clarkson was surprised by the enthusiastic feedback during her first visit to Hong Kong.

She said: “I honestly didn’t expect anyone to really know me. So performing last night, I mean people were singing the lyrics to all the songs. So that was very inviting and welcoming.”

Clarkson was in town to promote her fourth album “All I Ever Wanted”, in which she co-wrote six songs.

She also let it known that she’s a big Susan Boyle fan, since the latter won ‘Britain’s Got Talent’:

“I think it’s awesome. I’m bawling whenever I hear her sing,” Clarkson told The Associated Press in Hong Kong, saying Boyle’s rendition of “I Dreamed a Dream” from the musical “Les Miserables” sounded beautiful.

Kelly doesn’t seem to worry when others comment on her weight gain. She prefers it that way, to be a good role model sending a message you don’t have to be really skinny, and that you’re fine just the way you are. In response to the fan reaction of her weight gain when she performed at KISS.FM Wango Tango:

But Kelly’s always favored a piece of cheesecake over perfection. “I’ve always been thicker,” she’s said. “I don’t believe in dieting.”

And even now, says a friend, “She’s happy where she’s at. She doesn’t think being thin should be a big priority in her life.”

Plus, she wants to continue to be a good role model for her more voluptuous fans. “She gets tons of fan letters telling her to stay curvy,” the source says. “The last thing she wants to do is betray those young women who look up to her by going on a crash diet.”

It’s not the first time she’s heard of it either. Sometimes it’s not about her weight. She already knows what to do, and she knows that she’s not going to change who she is – unless its for her benefit.

…she admits that it does hurt. “I mean, I’m a person, so obviously it hurts you at some point on some level — but I think I’ve been this girl since I was on ‘Idol.’ I’m the same person,” she said. “I ain’t gonna change. It’s apples and oranges. Some people like it, some people don’t.”

So sorry guys for the late posts, but Kelly had something to say about ‘American Idol’.

“I gotta confess: Every time they have the show on, I’m either touring or in Europe,” she said. “So it’s like I never get to catch it. I only saw, like, one or two episodes. I honestly do not even know who is left.”

Rumors have spread all over the internet about Kelly being apart of the the New Moon soundtrack. MTV.com has an article stating that there could be a chance that Kelly’s song, “Did You?”, could be a possibility for New Moon. It is all speculation of course, but I’m sure we’d all love to hear Kelly’s song play during a pivotal scene in New Moon, which is the highly-anticipated sequel to the crowd-pleasing Twilight.
